MATPRO’s 6th Capacity Building “ Certified Productivity Specialist (CPS) by MPC
A Certified Productivity Specialist (CPS) briefing session was conducted with the participation of 29 attendees, the majority of whom were MATPRO members. The session provided an overview of the CPS certification, including the certification process, duration, and its relevance across productivity-related fields.
Participants sought clarification on several aspects of the programme, including eligibility requirements, assessment methodology, certification fees, recertification requirements, and progression pathways. It was shared that, since its introduction in 2022, a total of 52 professionals have been certified under the CPS programme. The certification will take approximately four to six months.
Certified Productivity Specialist (CPS) is certified by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation Certification Body (MPC-CB), which is accredited by the Asian Productivity Organization Accreditation Body (APO-AB). As such, the certification is recognised across 20 APO member countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
