On 13 June 2025, MATPRO proudly launched its first-ever Capacity Building Series with a high-impact session titled “How to Grow Your Training Business,” led by Datuk Wira Shahul Dawood, Chief Executive Officer of HRD Corp. The session attracted over 100 Training Providers and HR leaders from across Malaysia, highlighting strong industry interest and collaboration.
The discussion focused on strategies to scale training businesses through local transformation, strategic partnerships, specialization, sustainability, data-driven impact, and digital innovation. Datuk Wira’s inspiring message — “Be the best in your lane and partner with others to scale” — set an empowering tone for the year’s initiatives.
This inaugural event marked a significant milestone in MATPRO’s 2025 capacity-building journey, reinforcing the association’s commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s training ecosystem and empowering providers to lead the regional skills development agenda.
