On 4th August 2023, the President of MATPRO, Dr. Abdul Kabur, along with eight newly appointed office bearers, paid a courtesy visit to Dato’ Shahul Dawood, CEO of HRD Corp, at Wisma HRD Corp. The session highlighted MATPRO’s strategic vision to champion Training Providers through initiatives such as nationwide engagement sessions, a Training Providers Convention and Dinner, an International Education Tour, and the development of a standard code of ethics. Dato’ Shahul expressed strong support, emphasizing the need for a robust Human Capital Development Framework in Malaysia and encouraging MATPRO to increase membership, engage regionally, and mentor fellow TPs. He pledged HRD Corp’s support and resources to help MATPRO strengthen the quality and standards of Malaysia’s training industry.
