On 20th September 2025, MATPRO organised its 3rd Capacity Building Series: Empowering Training Providers through MDEC Opportunities via Zoom, attended by 39 members. The event was emceed by MATPRO Secretary Assistant, Ms Kana, and opened by President Dr. Maria Rufina, who shared MATPRO’s vision, new initiatives, website, and membership app, while encouraging more providers to join. Guest speaker Mr. Sivarao from MDEC presented the Business Digitalization Initiative (BDI) to support SMEs through profiling, advisory, financing, and capacity building. He also highlighted opportunities for training providers to collaborate as tech advisors and solution partners. The session included a lively Q&A on grants, MD-status, and vendor registration. A digital token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Sivarao on behalf of MATPRO. Closing remarks by Mr. Arulkumar reinforced the value of the session and encouraged future collaborations with MDEC.
